Default .avi to dvd

Hello all. I am looking to put my .avi video files onto a dvd. I want the dvd to play in a dvd player. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good program that will do this?

nero does it just fine... use the wizards to create a video CD

You can get a converter program to convert it into dvd format. Most dvd players will now play mpg etc
