Let's not bring up healthcare in a thread about oil... Ha.
Oh, it's oil, and oil is money. I used to work in a refinery that refined mostly Canadian and North Dakota shale oil. It's expensive and difficult compared to the sweet crude from Saudi Arabia or the Gulf of Mexico. But not impossible. Part of it is, a new refinery hasn't been built in the states in 30+ years. They are all retrofitted, and the process has gotten a lot better in the past 30 years. If Australia builds a new one, they will be ahead of us in that respect.
