I could redirect you all to "autofilter" on ED. but that's just wrong. So wrong.

Got another one. Set their clock to go off at 2AM and hide it in the ceiling. You can easily remove an air vent and stow it in their. This will create mass confusion. Or you can always use a phone for this, and keep calling it, but if they watch The Office, it will not be too hard to figure out.

Nice.

Quote:
New secretary (second day on the job) answers telephone as is told in official tones: "This is the phone company. We are testing a new circuit wiring scheme in your offices. Please keep everyone off the phones for the next 10 minutes. We will be verifying the correct wiring of your system by passing hot steam through the wires. Instruct your employees to place their phones on the floor, or, better yet, wrap them in towels to avoid scalding themselves. We will advise you when the tests are complete click." After momentary panic, the secretary begins a frenzied "Paul Revere" routine, running from desk to desk while glancing frequently at her watch. Just as the 10 minutes are about up, she bursts into her boss's office (while he is in the midst of an important long-distance call) and, screaming, grabs the receiver from his hand and flings the whole phone under his desk...
I forgot to mention the old soda/mentos trick. It would make a mess but be pure epicness.

I personally love the one of taking a screen shot, removing the start toolbar, and set it as there desktop.
Then right click > arrange icons by > un-tick show icons on desktop.

They will be clicking a million times and restarting.

Of course you could always just replace their desktop icons with links to nsfw sites, batch files that show a bunch of alerts or cmd windows, etc.

EDIT: If you really want to April fools someone not using just their computer than you have to do a few things. It takes work, but it's really good if you can get it down.

Setup a time schedule to pop open a window saying "I'm coming..." then pop off the screen.
Setup a box on his/her telephone line so you can tell when the line is in use (power on the line changes drastically). You could wire a small box to do this, or you could just unplug it what ever you wish to do.
The phone line suddenly going dead has more effect to it though.
Turn the phone off when that happens make sure to take his or her cell before hand.

Now you have to cut the power to the house, your best bet is the breaker box.
This is why the telephone line box comes in handy (it does it by itself, so you can be near the break box).

Anyway, cut the power to the house have someone else preferably a female let out a scream from some where.

Then Turn the power back on and find the person. Yelling their name letting them know it's okay.
Mainly because they will probably be scared and defensive (liable to stab you).

Oh by the way.. They don't like it if you laugh about it in front of them xD

It's cruel and inhumane but it makes a for a really good laugh during and afterward. Not to mention makes a grown man turn into a baby pretty quickly.

Play your cards right, don't let them know that it was you, and you could potentially get laid if you are the "rescuer" in this scenario.

Make a fork bomb on their computer with an additional string to place it in the start up folder aswell.

Another good one is wassabi ice cream. very easy to pull off when you have a friend that likes green tea ice cream.

if you work at or happen to go to a hotel go out into the lobby and super glue a toonie ( canadian 2 dollar coin) to the floor and watch to see how many people try to pick it up it is quite priceless sometimes people will start kicking at it and getting all frustrated and it will look weird to people nearby since they will not know what the guy is kicking at.
