Any Chance Of Custom Avatars?

Normally when Im on a message board I glance at peoples avatars and recognize who they are, Take Lord K, Hes one of the only ones that uses the windows avatar but practically everyone has the falling down squirrel

Itd be easier to see if people have avatars of their own wouldnt it?

And if Its a problem of bandwidth or spce on the server, We could have it set up where we can only link to a image on another server right?

I think its a god idea, what does everyone else think?

Note: Poll has absolutely no affect on if the idea ever happens, just wanting to see if anyone agrees


It wouldnt really be that hard, I dont see a negative, Just monitor and make sure theyre all forum-worthy lol

ive seen somewere were they said they had that. but ppl took advantage of the image hosting and so they quit doin it. david said it somewere...dunno were tho...he'll prolly explain better when he sees this...but i do agree....it would be nice. we need to have to take somekinda vow or sumthing b4 we get the powers to make our own avatar

Yeah personaly, i would LOVE to have our own avatars but i dont see it happening at all, its come up so many times, its getting REALLY old...

And yeah it would be easyer to recognize who they are, but i guess..

Here's a tip: Become a Moderator! That's how I got mine. BUT because of some so-called "Security Issues" I got booted with no notice...bastards. But, a good thing is that I've kept my Avatar!

i think custom avatars would be great. any nasty ppl, and you should absolutely ban them. if trouble happens w/ it too often, take that feature out of the forum.

it would make the forums a mess, and a G.G said the admins have already said no, so you have no chance think of what pictures some people have got, if you are really desperate for a custom avatar go to RG Forums This is own by the same admin.

eeh its not that bad w/ these avatars. an avatar updatet would be nice (some better graphics) but now that i think about it, i dont wanna ruin the posture and maturity (well for the most part ) that cf has. doing this would probably do more harm than good.

Yes this has been discussed like a thousand times, probably literally, not sarcasm
When the used to let people have custom avatars, the bandwidth use and abuse was far too great so the mods chose to take them off
It would be nice though, although there is no chance that they would change it ...
How about giving custom avatars to those who are frequent members, who won't abuse the system seeing as though they are dedicated ...

i would like them but if you have loads of pics all over the net it will take longer to load CF and i would cry!
