Default Android TVs Future of gaming?

In my eyes I think this has a lot of penitential, if this thing will have stock value attached to it, I just might get some, for the 1st time. You know that Sony, Intel and Google always make sick sh*t.

"With the added number-crunching power, these panels could support far more complex games and PC-centric programs beyond the current TV apps used primarily for delivering Web content. Personally, I think this is a much better proposition than 3D utilizing active shutter glasses."

It would be cool for things like GLtron, Doom II, etc. But other than things like that, this will not be useful for gaming.

Still, HD video playback off a flash drive, web browsing, and basic computer functions on a TV wpuld be really nice.
