Im going to america to do my pilots license soon. And I want to travel a bit whilst doing it. I need to know what the legal age is to rent a car is in florida. Because in europe its 21.

Anyone know?

I'm pretty sure it's 25, but if you're 18-24 sometimes you just have to pay an extra fee.

well idk about florida but i was in chicago and you had to be 19 and it was 19 in indiana too

i looked at a couple which came up on google, and they were all 21..

its 21 over here, so i wouldnt be suprised to see if its 21 over there too..

Should be 18 or 21. Check with Hertz, Avis and all the rental services around the area you'll be staying at.

it's 21. i know, i already called the major companies to rent a car so my girl could drive down here, and since she's only 20 none of them will rent me one! you gotta be 21 to rent a motel/hotel room as well, how stupid is all that?

being an 'adult' at 18 really doesn't mean anything i guess...
