Default AMD Black Edition Athlon 64 X2 5000+

Hey, I'm interested in purchasing the AMD 5000+ Black Edition socket AM2. I would appreciated it, if someone could please post a short review about the perfomance and stability of this processor.

Thanks,
Nexopedia

3.1 Ghz on stock voltage is really good.

Wow, unlocked multiplier for higher OC potential. Look at the multiplier, lol. All that to get 3.4GHz out of it. I want to see someone put a water block on it and OC to 4GHz.

It's a good guide to follow.

Built a HTPC using this and so far has worked perfectly for what I am using it for. Not overclocking so I can't comment, but for my HTPC it is handeling everything just great. Low power=low noise. It's quiet! Temps stay low.
