If your a system builder I wouldn't suggest using anything on you customer PCs besides the thermal pad on your CPU in case that customer burns it out.

However trick that you could do to get around this is before you ship the chip off you clean it.

Just like using an aftermarket cooler voids the warranty. But how are they going to know? They cant.

Yea thats a good point, but if your building a system for a customer I'd suggest you not use anything aftermarket... And if you do make sure the customer knows it could void manfuactor warrantzy
