ahh need help choosing

okay im lookin to get a camcorder for xmas, i have no clue where to start, i want something with good quality, durable, on the lower price side prolby between $300 and $400, compact. just an all around good camera for the price, any suggestions?

um, im not sure really, i want a lot of recording space so whatever works will be fine

ugh dont get the mini-dvd ones. they suck. get minidv. it also needs a firewire port.
