Aggg some suggestions?

Well...i have to write a poem for english..and the one i have seems so short...do you think it sounds fine as what it is? If not, could somebody hand over a suggestion of anything

The modest thorn puts forth a flower,
With birstles so long and grating,
So beau monde with so much power,
The modest thorn puts forth a flower.

Also for those who do not know french, beau monde means something along the lines of beautiful?

wut kind of poem is it and how long does it have to be?if there is no um set standerd for amount of lines you seem to be ok
