It's not that, some fake drives are known to show the full memory storage, but will have an error stating that it is filled all the way at a low capacity.

Well, I ordered one... Guess we'll see.

Kingston is usually good quality and cheap but their flash memory is slow. I buy Kingston stuff all the time.
