2 Hours left...

It isn't that bad, though I expected it to do a bit better.

The 1800XL is jus a few frames off usually from the 7800GT which, come on, can't be that bad. They are seperate companies...

The 1600XT is again, about a few frames off from the 6800 or sometimes beating it.

Surely, they are not as bad as you guys think?

If your an ATI fan, a few frames can't be that much, though the 1600XT seems the better card in terms of beating the opposition (the 6800)

I did expect more, but oh well...

Have they tried overclocking the cards yet?

Yeah, I prefer Nvidia now, but the cards only a few frames per second off here and there. It sometimes gets a few ahead. Sometimes doesn't...

From the way the reviews sounded though. I expected them to get alot higher results. Especially because of the 90nm process, etc, and so they should have been able to push it harder.

Though, when these cards are overclocked. I guess we'll see the potentional.
Maybe they'll overclock better than the Nvidia counterparts.

I'm going to stick with nVidia for a while yet, I'll see how things pan out.

I wouldn't discount ATI just yet, I'll keep a watch on their progress.

It's ok. After waiting for such a long time, the performance the X1800 XT gives is kinda disappointing.
