I'm an nVidia man, personally, but I'm still interested to see what it's all about.

Doesn't bother me - looks like SLI will still pwn Crossfire in any case. That's what the folks over at Gamedev have been saying. I haven't owned an ATI card since about 1994 - as I say, I'm nVidia all the way.

I'm the same, except I never owned a ATI Card although I've used them.

All I see are the X1000 series promo. I wonder what that is? Perhaps a high performance video card at a budget price?

Well using logic it's not going to be a cheap card. x800 is better than x600, therefore also more expensive. Using the logic x1000 will be better than x800, and so my gues is that it will also be more expensive.

But u never know.

PS. just went to their website, so there seems to be coming out 3 new types of cards, x1800, x1600 and x1300.

I've just played on a friend's rig with a X850XL. It really wasn't that impressive, by the way. I think the 6800GT is so much better, and I haven't used a 7800 yet.
