Yeah, but you have to be careful like that. It has no date limit, so there could be a problem.

I like the feature on another forum that I use, everytime you log on it shows you all the new posts, and unread posts...

Its slightly different but it works well, as I can see what I have missed everytime I log on.

Yeah, I was thinking of a button that would show you all your unread posts..

unread posts are highlighted in bold,
but (as actually mention when asking for this feature) there is a timelimit on how many it will highlight.

I'm not entirely sure what's being asked for here.

want to see posts with no replies? click the link to sort by replies.
want to see threads you've not looked at, click the bold threads.

why do we need buttons to activate features that are already active?

A button that would show just unread posts from the last day or so.

EDIT; The one's I accessed from quick link were all today's.
Yes that would be my my concern.

It seems if you click view posts, you can sort them but only for that page

It would be better to have a Unanswered post addon added, but with date limits.

Maurice, I've seen you have edited my post. I don't really appreciate my post being edited for an opinion. I'd suggest to click the third button. It's a multi-quote feature. You click it, then goes red, so it's selected. You select a couple more, and then, press Quote. It will have all quotes from the users you wish to comment.

see the links in my post.

you can sort for any number of days.

all unanswered posts have replies of zero.

so you can sort by replies and have a limit on how many days it goes back.

I suppose it wouldn't be hard to put a button in there, but I still question as to why it's needed!
