i dont think thats what hes asking brookfield. he wants a separate section where all the unanswered posts go to. not a way to access the new posts.

That's not the feature he is on about.. he wants a link to ALL unanswered posts, not new posts, unanswered posts.

he is on about a link to every post which has had no replies to it..

i think that would be a good thing to implement.

For helping, yes, but there should be a date limit. We don't want 2003 posts up again.

EDIT; The one's I accessed from quick link were all today's.

IMO, it's a great idea, it would be very useful.

well...

you can sort by replies, so you can see all the posts that don't have replies.

though this is distinctly different from seeing all the questions that are unanswered.

in fact...

http://www.computerforums.org/forumd...nt&daysprune=5
will show you all the posts listed in order of those that have the least replies first for the past five days in hw/sw

http://www.computerforums.org/forumd...t&daysprune=10
shows the same but for the last ten days

http://www.computerforums.org/forumd...nt&daysprune=2
2 days etc...

as I said though, still distinctly different from unanswered posts, that'd require some sort of flag that the post asker could check to say problem solved!
