trouble suscribing

I can't subscribe to any threads/. When I open thread tools the drop down menu opens behind the thread, How do I corredt that to get e-mail notification of a new post?
I can see the top of the drop down menu but can;t access it?

What browser are you using? the only other way is if you reply to a thread then you can set a subscription option there

Even with a reply the menu still is hidden behind the post. I can see the top option which is show printable version.
I use AOL . Google browser.
