"Our records indicate that your subscription to our mailing list has already been cancelled." But still receiving emails from computerforums.org. This is the 5th time that I unsubscribed.

Have you unchecked "Recieve email from administrators?"

Also, if you would like to continue your membership but disable all emails coming into your mail box, put "xyz -" in front of your email address in your profile.

I suggest that you send a polite PM to the administrator to ask him to check the settings and find out why this is happening

What type of emails are you receiving? Thread notification emails? Newsletters or what?

Anyway to stop subscriptions permanently? Sick of it.

click settings (top right of screen)

Click subscriptions (middle left) to edit your current subscriptions,
delete all that you don't want.

click general settings (middle left) -in my settings menu under account settings.

under messaging and communications click the drop down select do not subscribe.
