What with all the automated "hello" messages lately, would it be possible to run an automated spam-check script whenever a new user submits such a message? It could be as simple as plugging the whole thing into Google and automatically blocking it if it returns more than 50 results...

If these exist, i'd encourage an implementation, wasn't aware of such technology. We already have captcha on CF registration?

I've never heard or such a script either so I think its just down to us to remove any spammy welcome threads
