You cant have a link to the usercp, coz everyones is different, and it will just tell you to log in again

Well i still have to log in, if i click that link. And why bother clicking that link and having to log in, when i can scroll to top of the page and click usercp there and not need to log in. Just seems like more effort to me

it's possible that you have to login because the www. is missing from the front of the domain name, whilst that still works it means that the cookie that is stored for the login isn't valid for that domain because it's actually different.

everyone goes to either
http://www.computerforums.org/usercp.php?
or
http://computerforums.org/usercp.php?

you only have to log in if you go to the domain, or subdomain that you're not already on.

Yeah thats the problem right there. But like i say, its still easier just to click usercp, its on every page anyway. And i wont be the only person who has the login problem.
