While we're at it, they might as well remove post counts and user titles too. That would really cut down on the spamming to reach 1000, 2000 post milestones and such.

Scrap the rep. People love getting positive rep, but when they get negative rep they cry, or give the other person negative rep just because they got one.

What difference does it make anyway, a lot of people get and give rep for no reason other than to get it back. There are those who give out reps (neg and +) for good reasons though.

I'm def. on board with lots of others. Scrap in the lounge. You can definitely tell that a lot of people with lots of rep are never in the soft./hard. section...which sometimes provides a misrepresentation when new/inexperienced users receive a reply from them in the soft./hard. section thinking that since someone has XXXXX posts they ARE ABSOLUTELY correct when they may not be...also...it's called "computer forums" not "social lounge forum"...doesn't that say it all?
