If it's so pathetic, go find a different forum. You don't pay to have an account here so quit complaining.

On a side note, I see where your coming from not having sig pictures on the site, but this is also one of the first forums I've been on where you couldn't have an image in the sig. I don't think it would look messy, bandwidth could be an issue for those on a slow connection though.

No, I never said it was slow for me, but there are still people in the world stuck without broadband.

Another forum I frequent (djforums.com) also doesn't allow pics in sigs, as well as most professional looking forums.

I like the neat look of the forum right now. More clutter = longer loading times and more attention will go to signatures than posts.

I'm on the fence.

I believe that pictures in sigs in themselves aren't bad, its a matter of what you define as allowed pictures. If you have large, bulky pictures then yeah those aren't as visually appealing but small, tidy userbars can look sleek and tasteful.

I think if you make the image parameters small and limit them to userbars size (400x19) as compared to regular image sizes then you wouldn't have to worry as much about someone posting porn pictures.

I figured there was, I was just stating that the ones I've been a part of have always allowed it. Most forums I'm on are automobile related and everyone wants a sig with their car on it. Personally to me it doesn't matter, this is the only forum I'm on where I even have a sig at all.

tbh cf just seems to not quite be at its full potential ... ask yourself ... is cf successful?
the answer: maybe i guess, but not really.
a forum i go on that started the same time as cf has over 600k members.
my point is, cf has a lot more to offer, but we arnt doing anything...
