Default Old Threads

Alright, I'm not trying to make waves, just want to get something straight.

If you bring up old threads you can get in trouble

If you make a new thread thats been talked about before you get in trouble because you didnt "search"

Basically either way, you can get in trouble

Why is this?

It clutters up the forum if you make a new thread on something already being discussed. And bringing up old threads is as pointless as a styrofoam anchor

Only Seti said you cant make multiple threads on a topic. I disagree. I say if its old, and pull it up, and if its not being discussed, make it.

meh, if its not been discussed hundreds of times, theres not too big a problem making new threads about topics which have been discussed before, just within reason... bumping threads isnt allowed though, and repeatedly bumping threads will get you banned...
