Thanks Thelis for editing out some of there back and forth from the other day. I saw it and figured this post was going to get locked. I'm starting to notice that when brookfield gets involved in a thread things turn ugly pretty fast.

well I have a laptop with an external monitor (cause that's what work gave me)
the laptop screen is 1024x768 whilst the external is 1280x1024
I have a feeling that 1024x768 is still the statistically most used resolution. (worldwide not just here)
as some people (like me) find that if they increase the resolution they get that annoying scrolling desktop thing.
