Just an idea

I know I mentioned this a long time ago, but I think it's a neat idea. Why not have RSS feeds for the forum? I know not everyone uses them but I find them pretty handy. I use them for news sites and such and they're an easy way to stay up to date with things. I mentioned this awhile back before we did a VBulletin upgrade but if I'm not mistaken doesn't this version of VBulletin support RSS? Anyways, it's just an idea I thought I'd throw out there.

Never heard of that. What is it?

Well RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Some sites, especially news sites have feeds which can be viewed through a browser or other program that supports the feeds. In a sense it's sort of like the news tickers that CNN, Fox News or MSNBC use at hte bottom of their screens, it just gives you a small preview of what is there and if you want to you can click on it and read the full piece of information. It's kind of difficult to explain. Here are some links that might better explain it:

You do know some of those tickers take their content directly from their website's RSS feed?

I don't care for RSS but for people who do use them I guess it would be good... I usually see an RSS symbol on the address bar of FF on almost any site I go to.
