Default Hardware forum ordering system

I was thinking of changing the order system in the hardware forum from last replied to date posted. This will stop old posts being bumped and ensure that new posts are at the top?

Thoughts?

I like it the way it is now, but maybe we shud have a trial of the new method of organising. Then we can decide afterwards!!

Sounds like a good idea, when someone bring's up an old thread, it takes a while for it to sink down into the next page...so i'm for it.

Default I'm brain dead tonight...

So if you change to date posted and say the thread is on page 5, then if someone replies to it, it stays on page 5. Is that correct?

I'm in--to trying new things. Let's give it a try to see how it works out.

But what if it is a popular thread, it would just keep getting bumped down and down?

I'm just used to the way it is now most members are. Why change it most newbies would figure it out. I can't see why we should change it but that's just me.
