I changed my Post's Text Colours once, it just takes a whole load of time that could be used by making thorough Posts

A Virtual Keyboard would not make it easier
What would, would be the Rich Text Editor available here Now that is a Rich Text Editor! Presuming you're looking at it in a proper Browser. If you're in Firefox though, it still looks great! Just not so. I've been trying to procure it for oBulletin, but nobody is interested. I may ask them later on in the build, if I haven't already made one, maybe I will...
I think the Grey is just fine, it keeps it all as it should be, simple and Computer-like.
