This section will be about new custom computers whether it be just a question about compatible parts or any thing like that it should go here!

Your crazy, none of this will ever happen..Nice try though, and the user bars, no way, he wont even give us avs, funny how he can treat the members like this, when we keep the place going, without US this place would be like a ghost zone.

Yeah, I never found anything wrong with custom titles, like the ones underneath your username. If someone is found abusing it, change it for them, or if possible take away their priviledge of using it.

As for custom avatars, I think we should just have a requests thread, so those who want a certain avatar can have post it and if the staff deems it okay to use, then they upload it for you. That way we don't have to deal with those idiots who abuse it and upload some porn or something for an avatar.

For the signatures, I think we should be allowed more lines, but set the default font to a smaller size so it'll look better. I also think IMG tags should be allowed. It's all down to the moderation of the forums. If someone has an offensive image or something against the rules, notify them to change it and if it's not done within a certain amount of time, change it for them.

I'm sure David wants this forum to look good and professional, but there is a difference between boring and professional. And this place is teetering on the edge of boredom when you look at it. Some asthetic changes sure wouldn't hurt anyone, and if anyone abused it, then it's the moderators job to enforce the rules.

For custom avatars, I agree, there should be a requests thread and David could upload avatars like you said.

For IMG tags in signatures, it would definitely slow down the speed of the site loading, especially for dialup users. I'm a member on another Computer Forum; and they just stopped allowing images in signatures too... but if there was a restriction, for example, 25kb of images per signature whether they are hosted on Imageshack or wherever, that could work. [I think]

I've changed thoughts on custom user titles, and I think they should be allowed. I've saw them work actually on Tech Forums and some other forums; and those are large forums too. But we've had so many debate threads on all three of these issues and it doesn't seem to be getting anywhere yet.

I'm sure you've seen the other threads but the members like me feel that that 17 line sigs like you showed will make it look undity and slow the place down for narrowband users.

We have talked about custom avatars but there is no way for mods to approve them, its an admin only feature

Why did you choose that one example to comment on sigs? It is obivously an extreme example, and its only him that has asked for them that long.

As for the custom titles, you can censor swear words. You should just keep us happy David, and give us custom avs, and sigs.

Yes but it would like untidy if people had sigs like that and even longer.
