Ok. You posted a question in general help. Nobody replied. So you press the Feature Post button. Then it is shown on the index page, or a featured page. Get it?

I think I understand what you are suggesting. I don't understand why you would want to do that.
When you create a new thread you can see how many have looked at your post. If a number of people have looked at it and don't reply, why bump it without adding something. If you bump the thread by adding more detail or approaching the question from another angle, you are more likly to get a response. |
