Default Don't worry about negative reps!

I just gave someone a negative rep cause I didn't like what they said.

but when the page came back and refreshed their reputation score (and descriptive text) had actually gone up a level not down as expected!).

is there any reason for this?

That's kind of akward, but recalling what username told me the other day, his rep was in the rep, yet he had 5 positive reputation points.

There must be a glitch somewhere in the system, root.

when I think about it I'm not too bothered that his rep level increased rather than decreased...

so long as there is a red marker telling him that I though it was bad, and he can click on it and be taken to the post then it doesn't really matter what the numbers say...

it wasn't a bad post in terms of what he wrote breaking the rules, it was just blatently a stupid post and I though that he should know.
