probably not the same. Have you seen how powerful the C1060's are? I haven't even fully reviewed the specs for the C2070's. FOUR of those plus 3 fermi's?

630 gigaflops at peak of DPFP processing. And Tesla scale 1:1 since it's not a Scalable Link Interface setup.

Does anyone ever make a machine just for folding? I was thinking of throwing four video cards into my old ECS 790GX mobo with a cheap AM3 CPU and like 1GB of DDR3

Enough power? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103698

Sweet. the ECS mobo has ACC. I think I'll do this when I get a bit more moneys. I could give unlocking the second core a go, making it a very good cpu for the cost. If not, I'll OC the hell out of it.

I think this plus a couple G92 cores would be pretty good.

Anyone know when GPU3 client is gonna come out? I at least want my 5750 to fold worth a damn. a 9800 gt pwns my 4870 x2 apparently.

When I had my server up, I had it fold 24/7.

Nice. But I am talking a machine with multiple video cards in it, entirely for folding, no other use.

Is there any linux support yet?

How do you run Folding on multiple cards?
just it just run one window like normal, but just incorporates all the systems GPUs into folding through one program?
