F@H on a PC just doesn't seem to be worth the effort when you compare the PC stats to the PS3 stats. PS3 blows it right out of the water. I've been folding for 6 years but a single PS3 can probably match my folds in a fraction of the time.
Tesla C2070, when it comes out in Q3 this year. I might pick one up. Or a C1060 for some VERY SERIOUS parallel processing. Dual 1366 Xeon's on that Evga classified board set to be released soon, 48GB of triple channel, 3 Fermi's in SLI, and 4 Tesla C2xxx's. Call that a folding beast, yes?
