I just drove about 4 hours today back and forth hanging out with my friends from Brooklyn. I knew three of them from IRC and one I met at a hackerspace meeting.

I went to florida to meet guys i met on xboxlive, stayed about 3 months..

Givin the fact that they were my cousins friends, and my cousin lived in florida it was a little different. Lol

If a meeting was actually arranged some day, I'd probably go to it. As long as an AFB is close by, I can travel there for almost nothing and stay on base.

It'd be creative, but some of the younger members would throw red flags. Out comes Chris Hanson..

I wonder if we could get Brookfield to come, if he is still alive, God willing. Any other older guys remember him?

Well Chris Hanson is from there, of course..
Brookfield was another member here; I thought he was pretty nice, but towards the end of his experience he started getting people angry. Then he was banned.. he was almost 80 at that time.
