No, I think David wanted to refraine from doing that for something to the extent that you can search them in google, then less keywords would bring up the computerforums site.

to go off or roots thing, why not move them into an "Old threads" section that could be like a mirror of this (with the different sections) and have all the old threads? or would that be too much work?

Or how bout we just simplify things and put it in the rules.....or maybe put a sticky about it?

im sure i was bored once and read the forum rules or some sort of rules. i remember it saying threads that are 30 days old or more get auto locked. this doesnt seem to be the case. oh i also looked through some of the first forum posts once. felt pretty wierd. lots of spam
