The ads on this site

are slowing the site down. It has been a slow as hell for me today. Everytime it stalls waiting for a page to load...down the bottom in the status bar it says waiting for nintra.com or burstnet.com or whatever other ads are on here.

Nintra is part of davids domain or something rather, so its on his server, we dont have to wait for that.

i agree, burstnet has been slow today. extremely slow.

They shouldn't slow the rest of the forum down because they are loaded seperatley, are you sure they are slowing it?

well when your browser just sits there for 30 seconds saying waiting for burstnet or ads.realtechnetword.net it's a fair bet that it is waiting on them surely

If you use FireFox, search the plugins site for Ad-block plus.

It blocks just about every advertisement on a page, including the "burstnet" ones. It is almost 99.99 percent effective.

The Nintra ad still shows up, though.

I know...but you shouldn't have to use an ad blocker to make a website load quickly enough not to be annoying. To me that is a poorly built website if you need to do that.
