Yesterday I got some adware/spyware, so I killed it off with SpyBot S&D.
Now the connection is down - everything's fine except the IPv6 one. I've tried un-ticking that box but that doesn't work. I tried drivers for the Intel network adapter, that did not work. This makes me nervous because this laptop is only 4 months old or so, and I love it. Will I have to restore it to factory condition? That would be very inconvenient. That's a last resort, so do you guys have any solutions? |

First, this should be in the Networking Section.
Second, do you have a need for IPv6? I've never seen a network that need to use IPv6. Most, if not all, should be fine on IPv4. You metion wireless in the title, but then talk about IPv6 (which is ethernet based) in the description? What exactly is wrong with the IPv6? Are you able to connect to the internet/network still?
