Where to learn

I am looking at learning SQL server can anyone tell me where the best place for this would be.

(I dont know how much experience you have - and what your preffered learning style is)

I'd have a read through these, then maybe try the trial? I dont think theres a whole lot of books on the newest version 2008, so if you wanted something with a bit more coverage, or wanted to learn an earlier version of SQL Server, try the 2005 Version.

i have got the 2005 version software and the 2008 software, i have very limited knowledge at the mo.
