Default well okay I want some help

okay i'm getting my new windows xp soon and I'm a network admin and I want to block folders and applactions for free from all non admin acounts

now I've been trying to find a lock applactions and folders program thats free and i found a good folder locking one but does anyone here no a site link to a good FREE locking program that never expierse?

just set file/folder permissions and restrictions

what server u using? windows? what version?

windows xp but i';m not sure about the sever right now i'm always on my schools mac osx but I havent done much windows xp thats why i'm not a wiz on them yet so how to you set the folder permissons

it has to be an ntfs volume and u set it in console manager

In XP you can only use the folder Security tab normally if you're on Pro.

If you're on XP Home you can only see the tab if you boot into safe mode and then log in as an admin.

try one of the following program's:

File security manager

or

Titan FTP server
