Default webcam server

when you go to yahoo and use there webcam service it connects to a differnt server to show and run the video.

i want to set up and run that for my self like when i want to video chat with my wife.and im out of town it will connect to my own server and use that bandwidth.

thats the best way to put it.

For the sake of providing some kind of answer....

Though I'm not sure of the exact way to do this, but this might help:
in at least providing you video from home. I don't know about video chat though and them seeing you (not sure where you are or what the full situation is but in theory you could follow the directions at both sites)

There are also lots of option if you google web-cam server.

Don't take life too seriously -- no one gets out alive. Plus, who wants to arrive to the hereafter in pristine condition wearing a suit and tie?
I want to slide in sideways, worn out, used up, hair a mess, clothes tattered, & screaming, "Whooo! What a ride!"

im in the military and im away for training,if i use yahoo messenger to talk to my wife the video is very choppy.i knows its yahoo because if i use team viewer its like watching tv.but team viewer is not very piratical because takes to long to set up to work.

i want to use my internet at home as a server for both out web cams.

she dose not live with me at this time due to college.

i want to do this because with no one home to use the bandwidth.i have a 10 mb connection.
