WD MyBook Access An External HD Hooked Up

I have a WD 1TB MyBook. It has a USB port on the back to attach additional storage. Once the additional storage is hooked up how do you access it, it does not show up within the public folder (main default folder). Any help would be great.

Hi,

You should be able to find it with all your other hdds. If you are using windows I would look in the my computer, or were ever you go to find your hdds. If this is a linux system then it would come up on your desktop if it is mounted correctly.
