unused motherboard as a Raid server

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to take a computer that I'm not using with a 3.2 GHz single core processor, and turn it into a raid server. I would like it to be compatible with Windows XP, and Mac OSX Leopard.

you want to make a spare pc a server ... ok why not?

"raid server" what do you mean? If the board has raid on it ok.
