Is there any easy way to transferring all my settings/domains/etc from my Windows Server '03 in VM to my actually server?

Yeah, just join the Virtual Server to the domain, than run DCPROMO

Am I wrong or will that make his virtual server the domain controller and therefore have to run the VMware instead of his physical server. Because I think he just wants to transfer settings.

other way around.

join the new server to the domain that the VM server is running.

then on the new server run DC promo.

then take control of the 5 FSMO roles on the new server.

remove the VMware server from the domain controllers in AD.
turn off the VMware server.

job done.
