Default Setup Explanation

This is part two in my my question-asking series.

Google just won't suffice in this case, unfortunately, due to the fact that I keep getting stuff irrelevant to an actual server that is tangible, not under other hands.

What would I do upon purchasing and actually getting the server? What would I do to hook it up to a power outlet, get it hooked to the internet, and get a site running up on it? How much would the cost be?

Do you have to have a seprate isp for your server? like, if my network was on roadrunner can I not just use that connection?

No, I doubt you need a seperate ISP...BUT, if you need to have unlimited uploading, you would have to change your monthly plan

I see... this looks a little too complicated for the current status of what I need.

A site server and game server... I don't want to go through all the trouble just for those.
