I need help with finding a way to install programs on a school network under a standard user account. The way out school system works is they assign a number to each student or user name in other words. However each user is only a standard user but I've managed to install a web browser under my number only if i saved it to my number specifically. My problem is needing to install flash player and other such plug-in's.

Don't think your school wants you installing unapproved software, hence the difficulty you're having in doing so. If you feel that what you're attempting to install is appropriate and necessary, then discuss it with someone in your school that is authorized to do so.

umm what browser? have u tried using a proxy maybe? and see if it installs? I dont think that'll work though...

good luck with that dude. at my school they have EVERYTHING on lock. we cant right click (only in programs), we cant install shit. we cant look at any site that has anything to do with the word "game" or "games" or anything guns or weapons or porn (obviously). i've tryed everything to get around this shit. they even have BIOS passworded, i was gonna see if i could OC the POS comp :p. what i did find out is they use a program in which they can watch our computers remotely. i found out if you go in safe mode they cant see your computer because safe mode didnt load the program needed :)
