Default Root Directory Redirect (?)

I just set up a web server on my home network. Entering its local IP into a web browser correctly displays Apache's test index.html page ("It works!"). However, entering my router's public IP into my web browser, instead of displaying the index.html page, for some reason redirects to "http://<public IP>/home/default.aspx?gotodefault=true", and I don't know why.
I can confirm that port forwarding is working properly, though, because entering the full path of the file ""http://<public IP>/index.html" displays the proper page.

I suspect the issue is related to the Windows Home Server on our network. The Remote Access service of WHS opens "/home/default.aspx?gotodefault=true" by default; however, the service has already been disabled for some time, and HTTP requests are no longer even forwarded to the home server (they go the the web server...).

Thanks in advance for any help.
