Remote File Sharing

So i've got a group of people that want to share some work with an outside team. Docs, xls, PDF etc... BUT they don't want the outside team accessing the server. We have been testing out dropbox putting all the work they need to access on dropbox and letting dropbox sync the server so everything is new and backed up back home and not left alone in la-la cloud land.

Anyone have any better suggestions?
