Default Proliant 400

I need major help on this topic... basically i tryed to boot linux and windows xp on my new server box and got "non system disk-replace and hit and key" and "Missing NTLDR". I believe this is because of a array controller or something. Someone plz help me.

umm... does anyone know what is causing this problem? I think i recently figured out that i may have to use windows 2000-2003 BUT... i did a test with a windows xp and 95 (yes I said a windows 95 boot disk).
The suprising results were... i could boot to windows setup on windows xp but not on 95...

As for your missing ntldr error, try this link:

I wonder though, why have two OS's installed on a server?
Also, you are using either lilo or grub for a boot loader correct?
I'm curious to know what interfaces you use in your server e.g. SCSI, SATA, IDE, etc

I believe for most linux distros the default is grub 1.5 now right? that is what i used for gentoo and ubuntu.....idk what OS he is using though..

As for your error, I had the same thing....I could not fix it...had to have a guy clear everything...
