Hi there.
So this a very basic question, I'm on a Windows 64-bit machine, installing Apache and PHP to my local machine for web development purposes.
So everything is fine, but in order to get to the "It Works!" page, I have to type in TalkSki.com - Ski forum, chat about resorts, snow levels, ski equipment & related topics.. That is what's configured in httpd.conf, Listen on 8080. But when I try Listen on 80, the browser says "This Page Can't Be Displayed". That is when I type either TalkSki.com - Ski forum, chat about resorts, snow levels, ski equipment & related topics. or TalkSki.com - Ski forum, chat about resorts, snow levels, ski equipment & related topics..
I ran .bat file to check what was listening on port 80 and it's httpd.exe. Shouldn't I be able to access this page using just TalkSki.com - Ski forum, chat about resorts, snow levels, ski equipment & related topics.?
Thank you for any insight.
