Need help

i am trying to get my computer to show over the tv. I have a hdi cable attached from my computer to my tv. i just it keeps saying no signal on my tv..doesnt seem to be connecting to the tv any ideas? do i need to activate a my hdi port? please any ideas

Didnt you already make another thread like this in General Electricals? Please use only one thread.

There are many reasons, the main reason for me and problems with TV hookup is simply the hardware is somehow not compatable. However, thats my reason, yours might be different. Whats the feedback on your computer?

Is it a laptop? Can you hook up to a monitor ok? Is there video software that you can tell the computer where to broadcast out the video signal? Do you have your TV on the right input?

Did you try to go into your display settings and change it to allow for an external display. If you did not do this is will not show up on the tv
