mapped drives on workstations

Hello,

I've setup a new 2003 server to replace an old NT4 server. I found that all the users are mapping to different shares on the server. I would like to find a batch file that will determine what shares, drive letters are mapped on each workstation and delete those drives and remapp them to the new server.

The obvious answer is to use net use to delete the old drives and remap the new ones. Since everyone has different shares mapped a standard batch file can't be used. I need something that will determine the mapp to the old server and replace it with the new.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Can't you just delete all mapped drives and remap all of them with one file? Even if you delete the new drives, it will just remap to the new drives anyway, so you have nothing to lose (if I am understanding the situation correctly).
