i was looking for a way to scan my network for hardware and software usage, since we are currently having about 500 live computers, so keeping everything in an access database is not an option anymore....
i came across this software:Lansweeper network inventory software i was wondering if any system administrator in here already used this network inventory tool? it looks positive to me that it has active directory integration but that it is also running without having to install a client application (i'm not so very fund of this kind of client apps....)

There is one more alternative to lansweeper network inventory, which is network inventory advisor - network inventory software. try this one also.
